Events & News
The Aspens Living Center hosts a wide variety of weekly events such as outings for lunch or shopping, walking groups and fitness classes, faith based services, and healing programs, live entertainment, games and movies on the big screen, special theme celebrations and monthly brunches. For an even wider array of activities and classes, residents at The Aspens enjoy the convenience of using our wheelchair lift equipped bus and the ease of having a senior center bus stop at the community 6 days a week. There is truly something for everyone at The Aspens.
The Harney County area offers a plethora of local social and cultural offerings including the ongoing series of activities offered by the Harney County Library, the High Desert Fiddlers’ weekly jam sessions and the Harney County Chamber Music Society’s orchestra and choir. Combined with annual community events such as the Burns Paiute Tribe’s Powwow, the Country Music Jamboree, and the Harney County Fair, our residents remain connected and involved in community life.
Complete schedules of on-going and special events can be obtained by calling The Aspens. If you'd like a current calendar of our events and activities, please fill out the response form on the Contact Us page or give us a call at: (541) 573-2222 and we'll be happy to send you one.
