The Aspens Living Center is a senior living community that is deeply involved and committed to improving the lives of our elders within our four walls and beyond.
The cities of Burns and Hines are part of the larger community of the High Desert, frontier country of Harney County. Harney District Hospital and High Desert Medical Clinic, located within two miles of The Aspens, are new and modern facilities with a staff of doctors who are interested in geriatric care, and the Veterans’ program provides medical care, including a general practitioner and other outreach services.
There are three churches within walking distance of The Aspens and several other faith communities in the vicinity. The convenience of nearby services is paired with a beautiful setting complete with wide expansive views, quiet shaded areas for reflection, and inspiring walking paths that invite peaceful enjoyment of the outdoors.
The Aspens is a welcoming environment, not only for our elder residents, but also for friends and family, and the greater Hines community. From educational outreach, to family-fun activities appealing to all generations, The Aspens is an active and integral member of the community.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff receive regular professional training and continuing education well beyond what’s required for certification or licensing. It’s one of the many ways The Aspens is committed to delivering exceptional service. Since our staff retention rate is high, our caregivers get to know each resident in a unique and personal way.
