Ryan Dupuy was born and raised in Pasco, Washington where his extended family still resides. He graduated from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Care Administration and became an Assisted Living Administrator in 2009. Recently, Ryan completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University. Ryan has been an Assisted Living Administrator since 2010 and is a member of the Oregon Alliance of Senior and Health Services. Ryan is the proud parent of 2 daughters and 4 sons and spends as much time as he can attending his families sporting events.
Ryan is committed to providing outstanding services at the Aspens and making positive contributions to the community at large. Ryan says, “I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful organization and community and it is such a joy to be surrounded by so much knowledge and experience. Every day is a great day to come to work at The Aspens.”
Bonnie Carper, Assistant Director at The Aspens, began her career in assisted living as a caregiver at The Aspens in 2010. Bonnie worked her way up to Medication Service Assistant, and was then proud to accept the position of Assistant Director. Bonnie has lived in Harney County for 30 years, and has three children and 12 grandchildren.
Katianne Richins been an RN since graduating with her ADN from Gillette Community College in Wyoming in 2016. Prior to nursing school, Katianne was an EMT and 911 and air ambulance dispatcher for 15 years. Katianne worked full time as a Certified Nursing Assistant and ER Tech through nursing school and received her BSN from Grand Canyon University. She is now working on her MSN in Nursing Education, also from Grand Canyon University. Katianne worked in skilled nursing and critical access at Harney District Hospital since graduating and is now at The Aspens. Katianne has lived in Harney County for 3 years and has 3 dogs that love to go hiking with her. In her free time, Katianne loves to spend time outdoors hiking, snowshoeing, bicycling, camping and building backyard bonfires with friends.
The inspiration, development and ownership of The Aspens is thanks to a group of insightful and dedicated local citizens and community leaders who govern a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization, Harney Pioneer Homes, Inc. Their mission is to improve affordable housing options for senior and disabled adults in Harney County. It is a dream come true for residents of Harney County and one in which the entire community can be proud.
